If you are looking for an evening out with a difference then get yourself down to Camelot Rises.  It’s perfectly set in the former Camelot Theme Park near the village of Charnock Richard.  The Zombie apocalypse-themed experience benefits from the 10 years of vandalism and neglect the site has experienced since it closed. 

Conservation charity WWT has announced it is to re-open its Martin Mere Wetland Centre on Wednesday, June 10. Members of the public and WWT members will have to pre-book online for the day they want to visit as part of measures to keep everyone safe. 

WWT’s priority is to ensure the public can access its beautiful waterscapes to help boost wellbeing and people’s connection with nature in the area. 

The amazing volunteers who take part in beach cleans across the Fylde Coast have removed a whopping 9,000 bags of litter over the past year.

Over 380 beach cleans have been done over the last 12 months, with over 900 new volunteers joining the 200 regular beach cleaners in an effort to keep the beaches of the Fylde Coast clean and safe.

Due to the success of its flagship climbing wall, which has received more than 100,000 customers, The Climbing Hangar is opening its second Liverpool site on the Matchworks estate in Speke on Sunday 29th March.
